String Ensemble Sunday, January 7, 2007 at 2:00 PM Come hear a variety of string ensemble music, performed with excellence and passion by one of Bloomington's most talented families! Don't miss Bloomington natives Kari Jane Docter (cellist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra) and her sister, Kirsten Docter (violist with the award-winning Cavani String Quartet), along with Kari Jane's husband, Bruno Eicher (violinist and assistant concertmaster of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra), and special guest Nancy Grundahl, soprano. Enjoy the World Premier of a new piece by Steve Heitzeg for violin, viola, cello, and soprano, commissioned by Peter, Kirsten, and Kari Docter for Dave and Rita Docter. This chamber music is for adults. Children and young people who are serious instrumentalists will enjoy it also. Proceeds from this concert will benefit Angelica Cantanti.
