The Cantanti Singers of the Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs under the direction of Philip Brown through competitive audition, has been selected to appear in a state-wide high school choral festival conducted by noted American conductor/composer Mack Wilberg, artistic director of the internationally renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City UT.
 

An Americana Portrait with Mack Wilberg will feature six outstanding Minnesota high school choirs appearing together on Friday, November 17, 8:00 pm at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi.  Choirs performing individually and together as a combined choir are:

Centennial High School, Chanhassen High School, Duluth East High School, Angelica Cantanti Singers (Bloomington), St. Michael-Albertville High School, and Northfield High School.

A total of over 450 singers will be led in a program of American folk and traditional songs with special arrangements by Wilberg.
