“Music is the Universal Language”

The Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs (ACYC) Glee Choir/music class will provide the opportunity for members with varying abilities to grow musically and to share their love for singing in a fun and safe environment.

The instruction will be specifically geared to meet the abilities of children with physical, social, emotional, and/or intellectual challenges. This group is not performance oriented.

Goals include: building self-esteem and pride, improving emotional well-being, access to the arts and sharing the joy of singing with others by making new friends and building community.  Led by two experienced Music Therapists, Sharon Holland and Cheryl Henningsgaard, MT-BC, MS, the classes will also include Rhythm and Orff Instrument playing, singing, and creative musical movement!

One parent or guardian is required to attend in the rehearsal room and siblings are also encouraged to come along.
