2024 SUMMER Music Reading Classes for Young Singers

CLASS GOAL: To help young singers grow in their music reading skills and to help make them more successful choir participants. Students will work on notation, music staff note names, and sheet music reading.

WHEN:

Saturday, July 20

Saturday, July 27

WHO:

Students in Grades 2 - 6. See levels below.

LEVEL 1

10:00am – 11:00am

For grades 2 - 6 with NO prior experience reading choir music


LEVEL 2

11:15am – 12:15pm

For grades 3 - 6 with at least on year of experience reading choir music

​

*Register for one level. You can register for one week or both; the second week WILL BUILD off of the first week

​

COST:

$20 per class

Non-refundable payment must be received in advance to secure your spot. (If class is cancelled, fees will be returned)

INSTRUCTOR:

These classes are offered by ACYC Director Michelle Gehrz as a private instructor. Payment will be made to Mrs. Gehrz.
